it just goes up to the part where the desktop and the mouse appear how can i possibly fix this? please help
Boot into SAFE Mode. To boot into SAFE Mode: Start - Turn Computer Off - Restart Immediately begin "tapping" F8 key until the Master Boot Menu appears. Select SAFE Mode and allow your machine to continue to boot. The Desktop Icons will be bigger and look all messed up, but that is just because the screen resolution is using the lowest default instead of the setting you made with your Display Properties and Video Card. In SAFE Mode Delete your Temps and Temporary Internet Files Run any Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware tools you may already have on board. Next, Run your System File Checker: Start - Run - (type) sfc /scannow SFC will find and restore any missing or corrupt operating system files. Let us know what is identified by Anti-Virus, Anti-spyware, and SFC. Best Regards
