Please download and run CWShredder here
Make sure that all browser windows are closed with the exception of Cwshredder and choose FIX.
Let me know if it finds anything.

Click start > control panel > user accounts > change the way users log on or off > uncheck fast user switching > restart you computor.

Download, unzip and run 'RootkitRevealer' from Sysinternals:
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/RootkitRevealer.html
Once the program has started, press Scan and let it run.
When the scan is done, use 'File > Save' to place the logfile in a convenient location (such as the desktop). The default filename will be 'RootkitReveal.txt'.

Save your Log File
Copy/Paste the contecnts of that logfile into your next reply

NOT touch the PC at ALL for Whatever reason/s until it has 100% completed its scan, or attempted scan in case of some error etc !

That way you should have a much simpler and clearer log file in which to peruse and evaluate.
I will do all of that when I return from work..I did do a CWS scan before the hi jack log…And that too found nothing,…. Thanks for your help!!
I did the shredder scan again and nothing comes up..Did the high jack tasks you requested… Unchecked fast user switching, rebooting puter… Here is the text file scan from the rootkit revealer HKLM\S-1-5-21-2219571789-4073368547-2312759977-1005\Software\Microsoft\Picture It!\10.0\GoToMiniLab 3/17/2006 10:30 AM 3 bytes Data mismatch between Windows API and raw hive data. Make a restore point.

Then backup your Registry.
click start > run > enter\type "regedit" (without quotes)
- Once Regedit opens click on the FILE menu and select Export
- Save the file as backup. Save the file somewhere you will remember and not delete.
IMPORTANT: make sure to set the export range to ALL

Then download RegSeeker http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm.
Extract it to it's own folder, open and double click RegSeeker.exe to start the program.
Maximize the window and click clean registry. Check all sections and click OK.
When the scan is complete, verify the backup box in lower left corner is checked and click the select all button, then select all again.
Then right click within the search results and select delete.
Run it again and again, deleting everything it finds until it finds nothing.
Reboot and make sure your programs are working properly, control panel and add/remove programs windows open, etc (basically just do a quick check of everything).
In the event anything was 'broken', you can open RegSeeker, click backups and double click any/all files to put the information back.
A reboot may be required for the effects to be seen. Reboot When done.
Everything seems to be better now…Did eveything you requested, here are the logs of high jack and rootkit..

Log looks clean

One of the best features of Windows XP is the System Restore option,
however if a virus infects a computer with this operating system the virus can be backed up
in the System Restore folder. Therefore, clearing the restore points is necessary after a virus removal.

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account
which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because
you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Ty for re-opening this…

I am running windows home xp with cable connection..

Computer locks up or is slow sometimes…Not as bad as the previous time, but somewhat annoying..

I have run spybot, and it has found nothing, cwshredder with nothing found, housecall scan only found cookies..I ran adware and log file to follow after my hi-jack log..

I have done a defrag and scan disk as well..Done the Windows critical updates form Microsoft web site.

I have done the reg-seeker, when the puter is going slow, and it always finds some things that I get rid of, then it runs fine..So I am wondering if my registry is screwed up some how, or if I need more RAM ( only have 224)

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Hi-jack and cwshredder scans done with no other programs running..

Looks clean

One of the best features of Windows XP is the System Restore option, however if a virus or spyware infection.
There can be backups made in the System Restore folder.
Therefore, clearing the restore points is necessary after a virus or spyware removal.
