Hi!! I have been dealing with these popups since last Saturday. I have downloaded and bought spyware (xoftspy, spywareblaster, spybot and I had Counter spy before all this started) I have done a DOS virus scan with McAfee and have gotten nowhere. Here is my hijack ist. Can you help me?!! PLEASE!!!

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
  • Turn your computer back on.

    NEXT

    Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
    http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

    Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files.

    Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
    1) Restart your computer
    2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
    3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
    4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

    Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

  • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt, the ewido log and a new HiJackThis log.

I did everything, but when I try to run a scan in ewido it says database cannot be found. Please run an online update to get signatures. Plus it would not download from the url you gave me. I went to Ewido Security Suite and downloaded it from there. Now what?
