Note: This will remove all previous Restore Points

Turn off System Restore:

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Restart your computer, turn it back on.

On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Remove the Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Click Start> My Computer, select the Tools menu and then Folder Options, after the new window appears select the View tab…]
This time select the: Restore Defaults
Select: Apply, and click OK

I have had a reply (copied below) from my ISP to my query re the # - I don't really understand - is there anything of concern? "Thank you for contacting Tiscali Customer Support. As we provide Dynamic IP it keeps on changing each time to logout and login."

If that's the case, then you should get something like 80.225.xxx.xx
each time you login, which is OK. Any address between: [removed] - [removed] will be from your ISP.
