I have been going nuts for the last 2 days trying to rid my system of spyware, malware and what ever else you can think of. I am running Windows Me and have used ad-aware se, spybot s&d, XoftSpy421_142, and AVG freeware....after getting the majority of my problems fixed i was able to do a search on the tcsr folder i found in my program files it led me to a topic on your web site that may have saved me from killing someone. i have since used the fix i found on your site without bugging you, but, i do not have the knowledge to know if there is anything else i should get rid of. could you please take a look at my hijack log and let me know if there is anything else i should be worried about.

Thanks

I would like to see the files, locate them and put them in a zip file and upload them to the site.

If you can't do that then send them in an e-mail here

Log looks clean

One of the best features of Windows ME is the System Restore option, however if a virus infects a
computer with this operating system the virus can be backed up in the System Restore folder.
Therefore, clearing the restore points is necessary after a virus removal.

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account,
which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has
administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab.
If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

Win ME
To disable System Restore:

1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2. On the Performance tab, click File System, or press ALT+F.
3. On the Troubleshooting tab, click to select the Disable System Restore check box.
4. Click OK twice, and then click Yes when you are prompted to restart the computer.
5. To re-enable System Restore, follow steps 1-3, but in step 3, click to clear the Disable System Restore check box.

To help keep your PC clean follow the recommendations in Tony Klein's article
So how did I get infected in the first place?

Now you may get ready for the World Cup :wavey:
