Computer crashing randomly

Using XP on a 5 year old Micron. It's crashing randomly, and I haven't found any viruses by running Nortons, Ad-aware, Spybot, or Windows DiskDoctor - what else can I run, and/or is it worth getting someone to look at it? What are your opinions of eMachine brand? Marbe
