Windows 2000 Computer Will Not Boot Up

Help!!!!!! I am the network admin for a mid size company with 6 locations. We have a user with a laptop that has no virus protection installed. BAD!!!! I am almost postitive this is a virus. Now, after entering his userid and password and trying to logon to the network he gets an error about the winnt/system32/lsass.exe file and code 1073741676 and will terminate and try rebooting again. We have tried to install Norton Antivirus in safe mode. No luck! Can anyone PLEASE HELP!!!!!?? It is a windows 2000 laptop. Thank You in advance for all help or comments! Desperate and waiting
