Hello forum, My laptop has been infected with a virus and I'm getting the following error message at startup. lsass.exe - Application Error The application failed to initialize properly (0xc01000f). Click on ok to terminate the application. Once I click ok, I get a black screen. So far, I've tried AVG rescue CD. I downloaded and burned the file to disk which allowed me to bootup my laptop. I updated and scanned the laptop from the cd, but it did not fix the problem. I do not know how to run any of the scans suggested on this site without being able to boot. Please help.. Thank you
