hi guys ! i seem to have this problem for a while .pc is running low on virtual memory your pc is increasing memory etc…. i have try changing the setting but this still does it  my pc run xp home edition 2600+ 2.13gh 1024 of ram
ok so what do you have it set to now? A good rule of thumb to go by here, is your paging file (or virtual memory) should be 1 1/2 x . However, once you get over 1gb, then you should back off that total. So, in your case, I would set the Maximum to 1000mb and set the initial to about 2mb. To do that, go to control panel and click on system. Under the advanced tab, click on the settings button in the performance section. Then under the advanced tab click on the change button. Now, first off… highlight the drive your paging file is on (unless you changed it manually, it will be on the drive Windows is installed on.. default is C:). Once drive is highlighted, then set the numbers as listed above and click on Set (you are more than likely going to get a popup saying that by adjusting the virtual memory your computer may not boot….etc..etc. just click ok to close it). Then click on Apply…. then click Ok… then click Apply again (if its not greyed out) and then click Ok again.. then you should have to reboot.
