Help With System Recovery!

I want to Make a sysytem recovery on my HP computer but i lost the recovery CDs. My computer's operating system is originally windows 98, but i installed windows xp on it. the question is: Can i do the system recovery With a recovery disc for a Dell computer Which operating system is Windows ME? Help will be appreciateed Thanks.

lol.. boy you got'm all covered for sure.. but unfortunately you can not use that disk. XP has a recovery app in it however you have to set restore points. I am assuming you have an XP installation disk..? If so or if you can get one post back and we'll walk you through auto-recovery from the repair console.
