Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

O9 - Extra button: Related - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINDOWS\web\related.htm
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Show &Related Links - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINDOWS\web\related.htm

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Go here and run online scans, allow them to delete whatever they find:

TrendMicro HouseCall
eTrust AntiVirus Web Scanner

Note any thing that can't be fixed
Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.

Hi little eagle,

thanks a lot for your answer.

- I updated IE
- I fixed the two entries
- If trying Housecall, the IE always crashs
- eTrust didn't find anything

Same Problem: For a lot of internet addresses I get a blank site
There is always a directory "C:\windows\temp\01808300" being created
with tmp-files in it, (last week this folder was on desktop)

Here is the Hijack:

Please download and run CWShredder here
Make sure that all browser windows are closed with the exception of Cwshredder and choose FIX.

We have found that some of the CWS infections can be removed better from safe mode, rather than normal mode.
To get to safe mode use the F8 key while booting the machine.
Detailed instructions from here

You are running HJT from a temporary file or desktop we will be cleaning out all of you temp. files latter you will need to make a new folder for HijackThis. Instructions can be found here.
Then post another log.

Hi little eagle, thanks a lot for your answer

CWShredder found nothing, neither in safe nor in unsafe mode

The problem is the same, the directory "\01808300" I deleted before
trying IE, was created again

The Hijack in safe mode:

See if this works Click the Start button, click Settings, and choose Control Panel. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. Select Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Tools in the list. Click the Add/Remove button. Select Repair Internet Explorer. Click the OK button. Click the Yes button.

Hi little eagle, thanks a lot for your fast answer, but unfortunatly there is no change in the problem. I repaired IE - but no sucess. For example I can go to "www.tomcoyote.com" without a problem, but selecting "Forum" - I get a blank site. I can go to google, I can look for "01808300" (the always created folder) but when I click the found and offered links - I get a blank site. Have you got any other idea ? So long Martina

Hi little eagle - thanks for your answer We use Fritz Box phone - our DSL router we have the two computers connected (this one with LAN and the other with the problem via USB). Additionally there are two telephones on Fritz-Box, thus we can phone via internet. So long Martina

Routers can act as proxy nameservers, The way to fix the router cache is to power cycle the router. Try that and see if it fixes the trouble.

Hi little eagle, thank you very much for your help. I 'm just writing from the "infected" computer. (My son is very glad!) After resetting the router, we are now able to reach all the sites, locked before. Thanks again and have a good time Martina
