My computer has gone insane. I have tried many different adware/spyware programs, but none have helped. Everytime I try to type in a web address, I get redirected to about.com's search engine. My log is below. I would appreciare any help.

Hi Rob, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. If you are still looking for help, please follow these directions:

1) You are running HJT from a Temp folder, needs a permanent folder to save backups and logs. Follow the directions in this link to place it in this permanent folder:

2) We need to run our big guns for cleaning out malware. Ad-aware and Spybot can get the areas we can't reach with the HJT tool. I am going to give you links to tutorials and it is important that you take the time to review the information, then to download, update, configure exactly as in the tutorials and remove what is suggested in the tutorials. Make notes of anything these two programs can't remove, the exact name and location of the item. Run Spybot first, if you receive any DSO Exploit notifications, ignore them and please do not activate TeaTimer at this time, once you are clean you may activate it. If Spybot removes anything reboot before running Ad-aware SE Personal.

3) Please run these two free online scans, have them remove anything bad they locate:

4) Make notes of anything that can't be removed by the above four scans, the exact name and location of items is needed, post this information with your next log.

5) Clean Like this: Start, Run type "cleanmgr" without the quotes then ok. Check and remove anything windows locates.

6) Empty the recycle bin and restart the computer, use these links to stay in this thread, post a new log along with the information from the scans and any feedback you think we should have.
