I cannot download anything. Everytime i "Save Target As," the window comes up and goes right back down.
I cannot even load "Hi-Jack This"
My regular usernames are as follows, 'Thee Ambassador,' ' Shanell,' and 'Chop.' My username is "Thee Ambassador. But one day out of no where, when i logged onto my username, everything appeard to be deleted. The only way i have acess to my files is by going to "Documents and Settings" and "Thee Ambassadors Documents." The usernames that i have no idea where they came from are as follows…. 'William,' 'William.WILLIAM-0D2Q87D,' 'Squado,' 'Shanell_2.WILLIAM-0D2Q87D, and ' 'Shanell_2.' Again, i have no idea where these usernames came from. The username that it appears that i am on when i log onto my username(Thee Ambassador) is 'William.WILLIAM-0D2Q87D.'
System restore doest not work!!
It looks as though i have Windows 97,98, etc.. instead of Windows XP
Please help me b/c things look like they're getting worse and worse!!
Thanks in advance
Ok, in the control panel, click on internet options and under the "Security" tab, right click on the "Internet" icon to highlight it and then click the "Custom Level" button. Scroll down about half way and you will see your downloading options. Make sure that Automatic Prompting is enabled and file download is enabled. Then scroll down a bit further and you will find installation options. Make sure that file installation or installation of desktop items is enabled and then try to download hijack this again.. post back and let us know
I already have Hi-Jack this dowloaded. Its just that when i click on it, my CPU wont let me load it up.
And i did the things you did, and i still cannot dowload anything onto my CPU, when i try and dowload things, "Save target as" "Save picture as," i get a "The system cannot find the file specified" message, and thats for EVERYTHING.
or i get a "Internet Exploror cannot dowload…______.com"
Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."
And again, this is for every site, even if i was to try and download something off of this site, i get them messages.
