Hi All, A friend has called me stating he has the above malware/trojan. He is running an ME system witn Norton Security on a dialup. Can anyone give me some advice as how to advise him in getting rid of the above. Maybe it is as simple as doing a System Restore and then truning it off and on. Freddie

doing a System Restore

not a good idea. its possibly for malware etc to be archived in the restore points.

try a online scan or two:

MicroWorld

Bitdefender

Norton

Panda Activescan

TrendMicro

hi Freddie, i would make new restore points: turn off system restore/reboot (deletes restore points) turn on system restore/reboot (new clean restore points)
