Hello rdanhof, sorry for the wait we are extremely busy :( If you are not being helped elsewhere and you still need help:

I do see the elitebar, but I also see a nasty trojan, read about it here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/ntdll.exe-3784.html and here: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen…bionet.404.html Here it is in your log: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows Installer] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.exe Since it is not showing in running processes it is probably hiding in your Prefetch folder or a Temp folder? I believe, since Symantec is your antivirus protection that you should use there advice to remove the trojan. You might consider asking them how it got by their software. Proceed like this:

1) Thanks miekiemoes for this new fix

Download LQfix.exe and place it on your desktop.
Doubleclick LQfix.exe and click install.
Leave the default settings. If you change them, the fix will fail.
Make sure 'Launch LQfix' is checked. After clicking finish in the install, the fix will start.
Follow the prompts on the screen.
Your system will reboot afterwards.
Please be patient after reboot, because there is a script running in the background.


2) Follow Symantec's instructions to remove Backdoor.Bionet.404

Once you have completed these instructions post a new HJT log and let us know how things are running now.

Hey, that's ok, I had plenty to keep me busy. The computer does not drop you for about three weeks. (me after 10 days)
You log looks good, you and miekiemoes's fix seemed to have done it :thumbup: Have you asked your $$antivirus provider$$ how that item got by them?
