I have been working on this computer for ten hours or so and have deleted the majority of the problems but don't know if I am close to being clean or not. I have ALTNET.C and PPNETWORK.B . These are my latest problems. I also have RegConfig Class loaded into my downloaded programs. Here is that tag number {9CF28A69-7659-4C51-BFD5-9ADE19E19EC3} Anyway, thank you very much in advance. It is good people like you that make the internet still worth while, otherwise, it would be a hell-hole!! Here is my log:

If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Safe Surfing. :D
She is running like a top now but when I got a hold of this thing back on Aug. 12, it was slower than dirt. I worked on it for ten hours just getting the stuff that I knew that was bad news and then came to this site to make sure I was in the clear. I've learned alot from this experience and I sincerely appreciate all of the help you have given me. I kinda felt that it wasn't in that bad B) shape so I wasn't worried to much about a fast response b/c I know other people had alot more urgent matters at hand. Once again, THANKS SO MUCH@!!!!! This site is AWESOME! I have two more I need to fix so When I can post the trheads hopefully it will be just as good. I know my mom's computer is major jacked so it will take some waork b/c she has no clue about proper surfing. ALso, I have Trand Micro on all of my family's machines and cws and adaware; is this not enough? I guess you can never be too cafeful! B) :)

ALso, I have Trand Micro on all of my family's machines and cws and adaware; is this not enough? I guess you can never be too cafeful!

I would also add SpywareBlaster, SpyBot, SpywareGurad and ie-Spyads. You still need to keeep them up-dated. I would also suggest a firewall like Sygate. These are the programs I use, but at the same time you still need to be careful of emails and web sites you visit.
