Hi GMACB_1;

It looks like you are running multiple Anti-Virus programs. Perhaps if you settled on one and Uninstalled the others, in Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs, there would not be a conflict among the AVs. Please do not just delete them, they must be Uninstalled, to accomplish the desired result. Then, do an All Files search for the one you removed, to be sure all remnants are gone from all areas of your PC.

Personally, I would uninstall Avast, since the problem began with it, not because it isn't a good AV.

Next:

The following are recommended fixes:

Not enough information was available to make an informed decision on the following entries and the Program. This is why it has been recommended to be removed. If you know and trust the Program, then keep it and ignore all recommendations below.

Please note that it should first be Uninstalled/Removed in Control Panel>Add/Remove programs.

Close all browser windows and RUN HijackThis.
. Click the SCAN button to produce a log.
Place a check mark beside each one of the following entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SpyPryDef] C:\Program Files\SpyPry\SpyPryDef.exe

Now with all the items selected, delete them by clicking the FIX checked button.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders shown DARK, and delete them (if they are present):

C:\Program Files\SpyPry

If you were unable to find, or delete any of the files, then please follow these additional instructions:

Download Pocket Killbox and unzip it; save it to your Desktop.

Run it, and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot. For each of the files you could not delete, paste them one at a time into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.

The program will ask you if you want to reboot; say No each time until the last one has been pasted in whereupon you should answer Yes.

Let the system reboot.

Reboot , enable hidden files and post a fresh Hijack This log in this thread, Using the Post Reply: feature, so I will be notified.

Note: Do not attempt to "Fix" anything in the new log, as we need to see the entire log, without revisions.

Hi GMACB_1 That's a startup list that you posted, not a Hijack This logfile. Also, how about a comment refrence to how your system is running now. Anything, to help us help you.
Hi Piatan,

Sorry about the misinformation, here is my latest log. My problem cleared up after uninstalling Avast. Thanks

Hi GMACB_1;
Glad to hear your problem was resolved. Those AV Programs just will not play nice together.

Your Hijack This log seems to be clean.

If you dont have these three FREE programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening.

And also see TonyKlein's good advice
So how did I get infected in the first place?

Safe surfing. :D
Glad we could be of help.
