Thought this problem had been cured,as a result of earlier help from hjt.but just got error 1606 when i tried to install earthcamtv.guess I have the same registry problem?,would appreaciate your help again,

Did you upgrade from Windows 98 to Windows XP and the error message reads "Error 1606. Could not access network location . All users\"
Are you running Norton Antivirus.

This is happening when I try to install HP PSC 2100,2170,2200 & OJ 6100 Series Software Driver,from CD Rom.
Have also tried to down-load the software from the HP site with similar results.

Have noticed Spybot S&D has blocked this key;HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Code Store Database\Distribution Units\{AB8CE53-AC9F-449F-9399-D8ABCA09EC09)=

Have resloved the problems by deleting the registry entries %USERPROFILE%\Recent\. Re-installed the software and it all works,Thanks
