Yes you can turn system restore back on

Of all of those which ones. I have spybot, adware, trojan hunter, microsoft spyware beta (which seemed to find the most stuff) and AVG anti virus. They are all running which may be why my system seems a little slow. Each one seems to find something different. I have always been confused if I needed a firewall with a dial up connection. One friend swears by it and another swears at it. Thanks again

Well spybot is an on demand scanner so it really doesnt use any resources. I would suggest an anti virus (1 only) and either spybot or adaware. I would also suggest you keep ewdio as an on demand scanner also.
