Welcome to TomCoyote.org!

The log is looking pretty good.

This program:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Spyware Stormer] C:\Program Files\Spyware Stormer\SpywareStormer.Exe

Is considered a "rogue" anti-spyware program.

Read about it here:

Rogue Anti-Spyware Programs

I think your "yellow boxes" are just a setting in IE.

Please try this:

Go to a web site where this "yellow boxing" is happening.

Find the "Options" button in the IE tool bar and it.

In the dialogue box that pops-up uncheck the box to the left of "Autofill", then click "Apply" then "OK".

Now, hold down the key and the page refresh button in the tool bar (that's the one with the 2 green arrows right next to the red X button). Holding the key down while doing that is a "forced" reload of the page (i.e. it's contents are reloaded from the web site, then redisplayed).

If all goes well, all your "yellow boxes" should be white.

Please post back and let me know how this works.
:)
Thank you for the welcome and for helping me.
I have tryed to find the options settings in IE but havent yet so might need a little help on that one, i can find internet options under tools but nothing matches the autofill discrption even under the advanced tabs.

Since my last post i have downloaded spybot, that has removed the spy stormer thingy.
i have updated everthing and rescaned and then run hijackthis again and it is below for you to look at.

Also about the yellow being presant it is only where i have to put my email adress, anything below or above that such as password stays white. i am thinking it could be a keylogger thingy, in the last two weeks my spam has trippled.

thanks for your time you are such a blessing to the kingdom.

The "Options" is a "button" in the tool bar. I'll post a pic of it this evening, as my IE here at work doesn't have it (it's still SP1).

The log still shows no trace of malware.

I do have links to free online virus scans you may try:

Trend-Micro Housecall

Panda Activescan

Etrust Security Advisor

Choose "fix" or "clean".

Let them remove any infections found. Reboot after each scan.

I'll post again this evening. :)
Hi there found it under the google tool bar (i didnt think to look there) and it has solved the problem..
I will also look into those links you posted.
Thank you so much.
i was worrying for nothing, oh well a lest my computer has had a good clean out, Bless ya :
