My kids have infected our shared PC visiting game cheat sites. I've run Spy Sweeper, MS AntiSpyware beta, Spybot S&D, and Addaware to attempt to clean, but it keeps on happening. The IE promary window greys out ever few seconds and I can not type info until I reclick on the page. It's very frustrating.

Here's the HijackThis log file…

A bit more information and a guess at what I would do without additional feedback. I've successfully removed CWS with CWShredder and I've mostly eliminated the annoying pop ups. I have cleaned this as best I can with four different anti spyware programs and three virus scanners (McAfee, Panda and Trend Micro).

What continues to happen with IE is that the blue bar at the top of the windows periodically greys out and I lose my ability to type/navigate in the IE windows until I click on the panel again. It's not nearly as bad as it was before I cleaned things up, but it is still annoying.

If left to my own devices and guess work, I would plan to check the following items in my HJT scan result for cleaning.

Can anyone tell me if I'm going to screw something up with the following selections?

I would check the following…

Hello FrustratedDad, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. Sorry for the long wait, we are extremely busy. We would appreciate it if you would, in the future, only start one post then use Add Reply NOT New Topic as this is one thing that slows us down and efforts can be wasted. Thanks.

You did a good job cleaning out CWS. I have located three items that do not identify and as such are probably random named trojans. If you do not know what these items are, I suggest you follow these instructions to remove them from your computer.

Open Task Manager then click the Processes Tab and look for the two items that may be running, then highlite them and end process.
[v3EX3ES] tsclman.exe
[e0x7ROe2S] toomovie.exe
These malware writers are tricky, so watch for anything you do not recognize.

Files are probably hidden so use the information in the following link to enable hidden files for your Operating System.
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

Scan with HJT and check each of these lines for removal

O2 - BHO: SDWin32 Class - {9D2CFE44-73BD-4808-86E4-636D8F551CCE} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\pngde.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [v3EX3ES] tsclman.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [e0x7ROe2S] toomovie.exe

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows then click on "Fix Checked"

They may be gone, but to be safe, search for each item and if Windows locates them, delete them.

[v3EX3ES]
[e0x7ROe2S]
tsclman.exe
toomovie.exe

Clean Like this: Start, Run type "cleanmgr" without the quotes then ok. Check and remove anything windows locates.
Empty the recycle bin and restart the computer. Post a new log for a final check, add any feedback you think we should have. Please use Add Reply to stay in this thread. I will have some great information to help you stay clean at that point.

Thanks…pskelley

I followed your instructions, but didn't find either of the files in Task Manager or when I did a search.
