no CD-roms in 'my computer'

Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 오후 2:59:45, on 2005-07-06 Platform: Windows XP (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 (6.00.2600.0000) my computer can't read cd-roms, and cd-roms can't read cds. i did control panel / add a new hardware, and all my 3 cd-roms (2 real cd-roms, 1 virtual cd-rom) have yellow '!' mark. i tried uninstalling (not removing cd-roms from computer) and reinstalled, and it won't work either. when i used 'add a hardware' wizard (?), it says. 'it can't load a driver for this hardware. driver must be damaged or missing' if you know, pliz help me
When you turn computer on, at the bottom of the screen it might tell you how to "enter setup". Its different from pc to pc but it should be something like f1 or f2…and it will take you into BIOS. Dont play around in there with the settings just look and see if its recognized as being there.
