Hello All, :wavey:
Would anyone like to help?
My machine will not load the DRIVERS for CD ROM D& E.
Message as follows:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Will NOTRoll BACK! Please do not suggest (DRIVER DETECTIVE) or anything the same>
Thanks.
Marty B)
Under the Device Manager right click the drives and choose uninstall then reboot. This will force XP to re-detect and reinstall its drivers. If this does not work and they happen to be on the same IDE channel then do the same by uninstalling that particular IDE channel.
jephree :) Thanks for your advise. I did some research on my own and found link to Microsoft advice. Please go to my current attachment. My problem was solved after reboot. Thanks again, Marty  📎314060.htm
