This log is clean  but it will not hurt to look at each of the others. I am going to give you some information now so you can start reviewing it and benefit from the knowledge within.

Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:
http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=3051
http://russelltexas.com/malware/allclear.htm
http://forum.malwareremoval.com/viewtopic.php?t=14
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topict2520.html

Please post the other logs as soon as possible. Check your Security Center in the Control Panel to make sure all is good with AV, firewall and autoupdates. Make sure the AV is also on autoupdates if you have that choice. While you may choose other software after you review those links, until you do I suggest you enable TeaTimer in Spybot for additional realtime protection. Some information:

I could not find TeaTimer in spybot. It mentions it is under tools. I don't have that choice do I need to uninstall and re-install spybot? Thanks for the help
I should have mention earlier that TeaTimer blocks HJT fixes (as it should) so if you activated it, you will need to turn it off when using HJT. Thanks:

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.vroomsearch.com/

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

No need to post joe's log again, just run a HJT and make sure vroomsearch is gone, it would not hurt to run your cleaner while in the user.

This one needs some work and may have been where the problem started.

There is a problem with the ProcotolDefaults in this log. Something in the malware must have made the change to allow easier access to your computer. We will attempt to remove them with HJT first. If this does not work (make sure you reboot after you execute HJT), then use this reg fix:
http://downloads.malwareremoval.com/Nel/FixP.zip You should also have this information from the expert who dealt with this issue:
If fixing with hijackthis doesn't work then there is a reg fix download here. Just ask the user to download to the desktop, extract and double click Fix_Protocol_zones_ranges.reg and allow it to merge with the registry.
I went delving into the registry with my victim and it turned out that the Protocol Defaults key was missing. So the recommendation was to update IE and/or repair IE. The user did update IE, I'm not sure yet if they did a repair as well… that did the trick!

First we will try it with HJT:

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O15 - ProtocolDefaults: '@ivt' protocol is in My Computer Zone, should be Intranet Zone
O15 - ProtocolDefaults: 'file' protocol is in My Computer Zone, should be Internet Zone
O15 - ProtocolDefaults: 'ftp' protocol is in My Computer Zone, should be Internet Zone
O15 - ProtocolDefaults: 'http' protocol is in My Computer Zone, should be Internet Zone
O15 - ProtocolDefaults: 'https' protocol is in My Computer Zone, should be Internet Zone

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Scan to see if it all is gone from the log you checked. If the 015's are still there, then use the reg fix above. I would also run your cleaner.
If the log is clean, no reason to post another.

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Once again, scan and check, if the nasty vroomsearch lines are gone, then this log is clean, won't hurt to run the clean anyway.

IF you disabled TeaTimer during the HJT log fixes, I would put it back in place. You may or may not decide to use it, the information provided should help you to make this call.
Here is a little more information on how to prevent infections, with this many users everyone is going to need to be careful, they should remember that it is not just them that get's infected, but everyone's computer.

I could not find TeaTimer in spybot. It mentions it is under tools. I don't have that choice do I need to uninstall and re-install spybot? Thanks for the help

If you followed these directions, you have the latest version: http://tomcoyote.org/aawsb.php
Open Spybot > Make sure it is Version Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4 > Click on Mode then Advanced Mode > Click on Tools (bottom left) then Resident > Under Resident Protection Status check Resident TeaTimer. Resident SD Helper should also be checked by defaults.

Once you have completed these instructions, then I will want to take a last look at the Administrator's HJT log

Thanks…Phil
The user matt is having issues. I can't rin the reg fix signed in as Matt. The search function of explorer does not even work. I coped all his file in my documents to a backup and will delete the account and then recreate it. Does that sound like a plan? Thanks -bluerapala
You may have to run that regfix as the administrator, this is a new one on me. You can try anything you think may work. Keep me posted, if I find anymore information about the protocol issue I will post it. Thanks.
Hi again, nellie2 who posted regfix for us at http://www.malwareremoval.com/ is working the same issues in this log, I am posing it and one other for you to look through because you both are running the same version of IE and the issue is the same. You can look these over to see if any of the attempts help you but I notice the item seems to be fixed in this post:
http://tomcoyote.com/forums/lofiversion/in…php/t30200.html here:

llittleApr 2 2005, 04:50 PM
Yah!! The 015 entries are not there! What next?

This was after they followed these instructions:

Repair IE

1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
2. Click Microsoft Internet Explorer version (where version is the version of Internet Explorer that is installed), and then click Change/Remove.
3. Click Repair Internet Explorer, and then click OK.
4. Click Yes to confirm the repair operation.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to repair Internet Explorer, and then restart the computer when you are prompted.

I think the regfix was created after this log to make it easier to fix the item. This is worth a try if the regfix does not work with the administrator signed in.

Here is another log:
http://www.webuser.co.uk/cgi-bin/forums/sh…sb=5&o;=93∂=

Hope this helps :)
Hi, I did not see your latest try so just deleted the user and re-added matt. The 015 entires atre not there now. Thanks very much for all your help and dedication.
That's great  make sure you review the links I provided earlier as they will have great ideas to help you stay clean. Check your Security Center to make sure all is go there. You should now purge your System Restore files to make sure nothing is backed up that could get back on the computer if you needed to use SR for a valid reason, here are the instructions:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen…src=sec_doc_nam
MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SYSTEM RESTORE
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
