it seem like every time i want to search for something or get something in my email that's from an non threating website. i can't get it because it says it's a restricted site. if i have a good firewall and other protection, won't that stop any viruses from getting in my machine. don't get me wrong, i'm not into porn but i am a curious soul and i like to dabble in wierd stuff, to see what's out there. to boldly go where no man has gone before. you get where i'm coming from. i appreciate any feedback. my settings are on the default setting. thank you jerry

lol.. well.. If your getting "restricted site" then somehow you have added it to the restricted list which is in internet settings and under "security"... highlight the "Restricted Sites" icon and see if thats were your problem is comming from. As far as a good firewall / AV, yes they help, but deffending against the user clicking on things is impossible.

thanks crow.the webpages wasn't in the restrictive zone. but i figured webpage versus computer, i pick computer. and besize i don't want to be responsible for giving someone else a virus or worse.
