This is my girlfriends log, she sent it to me and I forwarded it here. She can get online (e-mail) but quickly gets bogged down with interuptions ie; pop-ups, hi-jacks etc. She can't even get to this sight!

Welcome to the forum.
You are using an old version of HJT, could you please delete it and rescan the system with the new version and post that log.
When you do, please download HJT into its own folder so backups can be made.

example: C:\MyHJT\HJT.exe or C:\MyDocuments\MyHJT\HJT.exe

First could you please turn off Spybots TeaTimer, it will interfere with the fix:

Please disable TeaTimer by opening Spybot SD and on the left menu choose Tools and then Resident. In the right hand pane you will see a check box for TeaTimer and for SDHelper . Please uncheck both boxes and then close Spybot. You can reinstate it later but we don't want it interfering with what we need to do. Reboot when done

HowToShowHiddenFiles - <—enable this

Download and unzip the KillBox to a folder - we'll use it later.


Press Control-Alt-Del to enter the Task Manager.
Click on the Processes tab and end the following processes if listed:

TASKMGRU.EXE
MSIMN32.EXE

Exit the Task Manager when finished

Close ALL programs down, leaving ONLY HijackThis running.
Place a check against the following items:

O2 - BHO: BHDP Class - {1A1488CB-8028-49ba-AD19-18D13CDC650F} - C:\WINDOWS\bhoass.dll

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Now open up the KillBox.
Select the Delete on Reboot option.
In the field labeled Full Path of File to Delete copy and paste each one of these in one at a time.
Hit the delete button
OK
Do the next file
After that LAST file path has been entered and you press OK
Reboot the computer
If you recieve an error message "PendingRenameOperation…." and your computer doesn't restart, please restart it manually.

SpybotSD TeaTimer is still running, make sure you disable it because it will interfere with the fix:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SpybotSD TeaTimer] C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\TeaTimer.exe

Please disable TeaTimer by opening Spybot SD and on the left menu choose Tools and then Resident. In the right hand pane you will see a check box for TeaTimer and for SDHelper . Please uncheck both boxes and then close Spybot. You can reinstate it later but we don't want it interfering with what we need to do. Reboot when done

Run a scan and let it clean the PC. Post a new hijackthis log and the log from Ewido when complete.
