Hi TerriLynne, Your log appears clean of malware  I will say that you have a lot of programs running at Startup you could disable in msconfig or by turning them off from within the software. You can start them manually if you ever need them. Here are sites to help you investigate:
http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist.htm
http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm

A good cleaning will always help, here is a nice utility clean clutter from the hard drive:
http://www.ccleaner.com/ Don't forget your maintenance and when did you last blow the dust out of the fans in the box? Dust will slow down your fans and if a computer is not cool is will run slower. Finally, I know you have seen it before but here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:

Hello there, And thank you very much for your time.. I appreciate it very much… I did as you said and got rid of some of the startup things…. 7 of them actually…. and that was hard for me seeing as how I'm so parnoid when it comes to my computer… lol…… I do want to ask if the ccleaner is a program like System Sec Suite? And if so is ccleaner better? I don't run SSS like I should I know. but promise to do so in the future…… Thanks again… Always, Terri Lynne
Hi Terri, Good job getting some of that stuff out of startup. You do not have to get rid of it unless you want to. This will explain about msconfig: http://netsquirrel.com/msconfig/ As far as CCleaner goes, it is just one of several really good cleaners that have popped up lately and System Security Suite is one of those. I have not used SSS so I can't tell you much about it. I was suggesting "cleanmgr" which of course is part of windows but I decided to try CCleaner because I had an old CleanDisk2002 which stopped being freeware but I was holding on to it. When trying to locate something to suggest that would do a good job for folks who did not know how or wish to be hunting through there files to locate temp stuff to delete, I tried CCleaner on my machines and was impressed. So that's the story.
Since I think SSS is also a stand alone program so you can keep them both if you wish. I can also say the CCleaner has a great forum where you can ask any questions you have. Check your version of CCleaner too…just went to v1.19.105. I hope this information helps. If I can look at another log for you to make sure something you removed is gone, I will be glad to. I will keep this thread open for week if you need it. Phil

Thanks…pskelley
