Step 1
Open HijackThis, run a scan, then check the following:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =

O2 - BHO: AddressBar Class - {f65b197f-8260-4d52-909a-f70118e646eb} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\iasadm.dll

O3 - Toolbar: AZE Search - {a19ef336-01d4-48e6-926a-fe7e1c747aed} - C:\WINDOWS\azesearch3.dll

With all other programs and browsers closed, click fix checked.


Step 2
Please set your computer to show all files.
  • Double-click My Computer.
  • Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
  • Click the View tab.
  • Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
  • Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
  • Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
  • Click Apply, and then click OK.
You will need to reverse this process when all steps are done.


Step 3
Please delete the following files/folders:

C:\Program Files\BazookaBar << Whole Folder
C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker << Whole Folder

C:\WINDOWS\azesearch3.dll << File Only
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ossproxy.exe << File Only

If you have any problem deleting these files, reboot into Safe Mode (tap F8 during bootup, use arrow keys to select Safe Mode, then hit 'enter') and try again.


Step 4
Download the Hoster from here.
  • Unzip the contents of hoster.zip.
  • Double click on hoster.exe to run the program.
  • Press "Restore Original Hosts" and press "OK".
  • Exit Program.

Step 5
Reboot normally and scan with HijackThis. Post the new log as a reply to this thread.
