Hi, I have find out that I have 1 risk file called qruigijq.exe.js during my usual scanning using Norton Antivirus. However, when I go to the folder as indicated by the scan report, I find no file with the indicated name. I search through my whole harddisk, I also cannot find anything file with the same name. Below is my log file using hijackThis.

Please advise me how to solve my problem. Thanks.
Hello HelpHelp, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. First I must tell you that you have a nasty infection called W32.Donk.S. You have other bad stuff also, but once Donk is removed we can remove the rest. Now I need to tell you the reason you have this. You have no Service Pack 1 and you have none of the Critical Updates necessary to protect your computer. See this:
Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1
Scan saved at 18:02:11, on 26/03/2005
Platform: Windows XP(SP1) (WinNT 5.01.2600) <<< Service Park 1
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 (6.00.2600.0000) <<< Critical Updates

1) You need to go here:

http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/v5co…t.aspx?ln=en-us and allow all the updates for Critical Security for your computer to be downloaded and installed or you will continue to get infections. DO NOT DOWNLOAD SP2

2) You need to use the information in this link: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen…w32.donk.s.html follow these instructions to remove this item.

3) Run this free online scan and have it fix or clean anything it locates: http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/

When you are finished with these instructions, post a new log, stay in this same thread.

Thanks…pskelley
