I have run Elite Toolbar removal tool v1.1b in safe mode I have run adaware pro SE ,Spwbot search and destroy as well as Microsofts antispyware beta. In all cases it reinstalls itself I have yet to encounter one so insidious on a clients machine(WORK) once at home and I just reinstalled the OS . This is a work machine and to reformat and reinstall is a major task which includes way too much
downtime. I have created a log with hijack this and hopefully someone here has some good advice for me. I really need to get this box fixed yesterday. Thank you,
I'll be checking back regularly for a reply.

Please help :~(
Well that removal tool was useless. I finally triumphed however by using regedit
searching elite and erasing every entry except for the font. I also found ieaksie, tvmedia, wupdate and others it seems like booting into safe mode and scrubbing the registry is the best way I've found . I tried adaware, spyblaster.spybot search and destroy, hijack this and microsofts new beta
deal and none of them worked…aargh. Usually in the past adaware and spybot have been enough. Well it's been ten minutes and no popups. I think I've won. here's my log anyhow:
