just this morning my computer began picking up several trojans and i ran ad-aware, cwshredder, spybot. my anti virus could not delete the infected files so i just stopped them. anyway my web browsers are really sluggish. help pls!

anyway there were some unknown hosts which i already deleted.

In case you do not have a firewall, a good one can be downloaded here
Zone Alarm

did you set the following restrictions in IE ?

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
if not then

Run HIJACKTHIS, press SCAN and put a CHECK to the following lines.

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

Then CLOSE all other windows including this and press FIX CHECKED

After that REBOOT scan with hijackthis and
POST a new log in this thread using 'Post Reply'

Your log is relatively clean
any problems ???

hahaha thanks for the quick reply. anyway i ran trendmicro housecall, detected and deleted some worm thingy and poof, all back to to normal again. hmmmm piss me off

ok to go
now that you are clean its a good idea to flush out your infected system restore points. To do that

Click Start > Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer
Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check the "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives" check box

After that reboot do the same as above but this time UNCHECK the "Turn off System Restore" or "Turn off System Restore on all drives" check box

and you should be good to go
