I run counter spy all the time. I just ran ad aware twice; followed by spybot S&D; followed by CW shredder; followed by registry mechanic. Then I ran Hijackthis. Below is the log. Anything need to be removed? Thanks for the help, I couldn't do this on my own. BTW, I asked before, but no replies, so I'm assuming since counter spy claims to have found a password hacker that it deleted, that I should still change critical passwords??

Thank you.

Hello Joenw, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. We have many, many logs posted everyday, you posted here:
http://forums.tomcoyote.org/index.php?showtopic=31912 at this time: Mar 9 2005, 01:24 PM then you posted again here: http://forums.tomcoyote.org/index.php?showtopic=32120 at this time: Mar 11
2005, 03:48 PM, it is not unusual for wait of a week or more for help. Keep in mind volunteers with jobs and families man the boards and there is also a link here: http://forums.tomcoyote.org/index.php?showtopic=31622
for you to use if five days goes by without hearing from anyone. Now that you realize the need to be patient, I will tell you this about your log.

1) I am not familiar with the Sunbelt Software and can find nothing bad said about it so I assume it works, this is something you will have to find out.

2) Looks like you had the card game Solitaire open when you ran the log.

3) Your HJT.exe is outdated and I really need to see a new log with version 1.99.1 to be sure. You can update from within the software like this: Open HJT > Open the Misc Tools section > Scroll to Check for update online > Follow instructions.

4) The only thing I see in this log is:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\FINDFAST.EXE,
you can read this information: http://castlecops.com/startuplist-2061.html to help you decide, I will be glad to give you instructions for it's removal if this is what you wish to do after I see the new log. Everthing else in your log is ok.

5) If you post a new log, please do not start a new topic, rather stay in this thread.

Thanks…pskelley
