I'm stumped & I'm having a problem getting rid of lingering spyware to get my pc working again. I've used Spybot 1.4, Ad-ware 1.6, Counterspy and got rid of as much as possible but, still can't get on the internet. Here is the log:

Please disable teatimer

To help in proper removal of bad items, temporarily disable these helper programs. You can do this using msconfig, but it can also be achieved in Spybot itself. Here's how to do that:

Open Spybot and click on Mode and check Advanced Mode:

Check yes to next window.

Click on Tools in bottom left hand corner:

Click on System Startup icon:

Uncheck Teatimer box and SpywareGuard (if installed). Also any other anti-malware protective startup programs like WinPatrol, etc..). Your antivirus program can be left intact.

Next scan with hijackthis and put a check beside these lines and choose FIX

First, I would like to say thank you for helping me.

I did everything as posted in the reply but, I'm still not able to get out on the net. I see a lot of traffic outbound but, can't get to any web sites like google or cnn.com.

Here is the newest log file:

Thanks again for the help.
Scan with hijackthis and put a check beside these lines and choose FIX O21 - SSODL: 0EGIA0BE - {49E754D8-79E8-1F05-00F4-7CC224341E3B} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\Lnmfgl32.dll (file missing) Then reboot. So you cant get to the net at all? Have you tried in safe mode with network connection? Do you have access to another system that can get to the net?
Unfortunatley for me that answer is no. For some reason I can't get out to the net. But, if I go to safe mode I can ping google, yahoo and the gateway, I can even browse google and yahoo web pages (couldn't do that before).

I have another machine hooked up to the same switch and sharing resources via a KVM switch and that machine is what I'm using to type all the Reply Threads. Also, the NIC's are setup exactly the same as well.

I have to think about what other issues might be causing the problem. Maybe an application or another malware is blocking TCP/UDP ports?

Anyway, here is a fresh log file:

Let me know if you find anything or have any suggestions….

You are a Huge Huge help :D Thanks!
Sorry for the delay, been a bit under the weather, for a while.

Anyway, I ran CWSHEDDER and it turned up clean. I went and uninstalled programs that I know were never used and needed. The wierd thing is I'm getting an IP # but, can't get on the internet at all. I can only ping machines on the same subnet. But, I continue to find Spyware/Mallware/viruses using a variety of scanning tools, Trend Micro (patter 761) still says no viruses.

I ran another hijack log for you let me know what you think:

I will download the file on my working computer and install it on the non-working computer tomorrow. I just installed another NIC in the computer and get the same results so far.
Download Ewido from your working computer the the bad one and follow thrse steps.

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan.
I'm running the Ewido Security Suite 3.0 right now….. I think I discuvered another malware app that was restricting outbound traffic so, I had to run the winsox repair utility again to fix the issue with Winsock and TCP. Also, I realized that my version of Trend Pc-cillin was also currupt so, I uninstalled it. I'm now able to get out to the internet and download all of the Microsoft patches. I'm still going to send the log of the Ewido and hi-jack this as soon as I can.
I posting this from the problem machine to verify network connectivity.

I don't believe it 4 more spyware/trojan's Jeez man, this stinks anyway here is the logs of Ewido Security Suite:

I finally think all of the Spyware/malware/trojan/worms have been deleted for now. The only thing I left to get working is the on-board (REALTEK) NIC. I'm still using a PCI NIC that I installed.

Also, There is one other question. I installed the new Trend PC-Cillin IS and the realtime anti-virus seems to work just fine but, if I use the Firewall the NIC won't get out to the WWW. I've tried allowing all exceptions and using all the settings (low-high) and the only thing I get is the correct IP #. Could this be the result of a removed virus that has remenants left somewhere?
Sorry but the plot thickens….. I just completed a scan using Spybot 1.4 and found a LSA spyware. Here is the log: β€” Report generated: 2005-08-13 15:55 β€” LSA: Settings (Registry key, fixed) HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa LSA: Settings (Registry key, fixed) HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2857340866-2796713857-643571872-1006\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa LSA: Settings (Registry key, fixed) HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa Avenue A, Inc.: Tracking cookie (Firefox: default) (Cookie, fixed) β€” Spybot - Search & Destroy version: 1.4 (build: 20050523) β€” 2005-05-31 blindman.exe (1.0.0.1) 2005-05-31 SpybotSD.exe (1.4.0.3) 2005-05-31 TeaTimer.exe (1.4.0.2) 2005-07-26 unins000.exe (51.41.0.0) 2005-05-31 Update.exe (1.4.0.0) 2005-05-31 advcheck.dll (1.0.2.0) 2005-05-31 aports.dll (2.1.0.0) 2005-05-31 borlndmm.dll (7.0.4.453) 2005-05-31 delphimm.dll (7.0.4.453) 2005-05-31 SDHelper.dll (1.4.0.0) 2005-05-31 Tools.dll (2.0.0.2) 2005-05-31 UnzDll.dll (1.73.1.1) 2005-05-31 ZipDll.dll (1.73.2.0) 2005-04-26 Includes\Cookies.sbi (*) 2005-08-12 Includes\Dialer.sbi (*) 2005-08-12 Includes\Hijackers.sbi (*) 2005-06-23 Includes\Keyloggers.sbi (*) 2005-08-12 Includes\Malware.sbi (*) 2005-08-12 Includes\PUPS.sbi (*) 2005-04-27 Includes\Revision.sbi (*) 2005-08-06 Includes\Security.sbi (*) 2005-08-12 Includes\Spybots.sbi (*) 2005-02-17 Includes\Tracks.uti 2005-08-12 Includes\Trojans.sbi (*) Could this interfere with Network services?
