Hello Andry, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. The bad news is you have a goodly collection of nasty adware and a trojan or two. The good news is if you follow directions we can clean it up. Here is some of what you are looking at.

WIN32.RBOT WORM,
or part of a Casino Palazzo foistware install
Windows ControlAd\WinCtlAd.exe
Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Small.rd
Netster
IS Technologies SideFind
and who knows what else.

I understand you said you have been running Ad-aware and Spybot, I want you to follow the directions below to update, configure as suggested and run them again. Make a list to post with your next log of any item located by any of the scans that could not be removed. Please include the exact name and location of each item.

We need to run our big guns for cleaning out malware. Ad-aware and Spybot can get the areas we can't reach with the HJT tool. I am going to give you links to tutorials and it is important that you take the time to review the information, then to download, update, configure exactly as in the tutorials and remove what is suggested in the tutorials. Make notes of anything these two programs can't remove, the exact name and location of the item. Run Spybot first, if you receive any DSO Exploit notifications, ignore them and please do not activate TeaTimer at this time, once you are clean you may activate it. If Spybot removes anything reboot before running Ad-aware SE Personal.
Spybot:

Ad-aware:

Free online scans
Now I want you to use these free online scans to kill the trojans, set them to clean/fix and remember we need the complete name and location of anything the scans locate but can't kill.
I am interested in the performance of the scans, what scan does what, this will help me know what scans to use in future situations. Thanks much.

When this is complete, run cleanmgr, then empty the recycle bin and restart the computer. Post a new log along with your comments and the information requested above. Use the following two links to stay in this thread.
When replying to your topic, please use the

button NOT the

button.

Yo never11, Look at the bright side, it could be your computer. If you wish to help your friend, then slow down a little and pay attention to instructions. You cut the first line off of this new log you posted and when I asked you to give me information about the scans, this is all I received from you.

btw, the trojan horse tht u asked me to use, it always hang after halfway through. i have tried that twice, and both hang over there. :(… pls help me

What about the Ad-aware and Spybot scans, did they locate anything? The other scan from Panda, how did it do? It is important that I receive the information I ask for from you to the best of your ability. You can tell your friend they need to be careful what they download or they will continue to infect their computer, this is where some of the junk come from: http://castlecops.com/startuplist-967.html
It may take a few passes to get rid of it all, I suggest you be patient and try to follow the directions carefully. Here is some information about how WinAdControl got on the computer: http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/grayware/g…AME=ADW_WINAD.B

Open Task Manager (Ctrl, Alt, Delete at the same time) under the Processes Tab, look for, highlite and end processes on any of these you see there.

Close ALL programs but HJT and ALL browser windows then click on "Fix Checked"

RIGHT click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these files or folders:

D:\Program Files\Windows ControlAd\ >>> folder

D:\Program Files\AdTools Service\ … folder

D:\Program Files\Ares\ >>> folder

D:\WINDOWS\qxymdph.exe >>> file

Empty the recycle bin and restart the computer. Clean Like this: Start, Run type "cleanmgr" without the quotes then ok. Check and remove anything windows locates. Post a new log along with any comments you think you should make and we will see what is left to do.

first reply i have made, sacnning thru adware and spybot, it has removed most of th stuffs. infact both wanted me to start their software at the next available startup so as to remove the spyware. i did that. everything for that was fine.

then came the part of useing the online scan. using the virus scanned, 5 objects was found and deleted. whereas for the trojan horse scan, it jus hanged there half way without saying anythng or any movement in the loading bar. so i restarted it, and to my dismay, halfway through, it jus hangs there again.. =(.. sd tht i my story so far.

firstly i would like to apologise if i have not been descriptive enough… =).. but i will try my best to be more descriptive.

here is my current log after i have done wad i was told to do the previous round.

after a while, the program tht sparked me off to making sure tht spyware to be uninstall is back again… haiz…. it is the prvdi. btw, some of the programs such as adcontrol is no longer there anymore as i cant see them in my process list. =)..jsu let u knoe. the main problem now is pvrbi. it seems tht i already deleted it and clean the recycle bin, but then the thing is back again.. urghh…
OK never11, Here is what I said in my first post

:"Hello Andry, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. The bad news is you have a goodly collection of nasty adware and a trojan or two. The good news is if you follow directions we can clean it up."

I did show you there were some nasty items to remove and never said it would be easy. I want to thank you for trying to give me information I need, hard to see what you see from here in Clearwater, Florida…lol. :) First then, click on this link and see what we are up against, this is the trojan that put adcontol and who knows what else on the computer and we need to remove it. I do want to say that you have removed much so far and are doing good. I will give you a two more tools to try, the first is from Kaspersky who identified the trojan for us. Run them in the order I post then, make sure you have them set to clean or fix and update them if that is available. You know what you are looking for so use these tools to kill it and we can clean up the rest and get on about the business of enjoying our computers. The second one is a download so make sure you download the FREE 30 day trial then follow the directions. Perhaps you will not need that one.
Here is the item: http://computercops.biz/startuplist-7032.html and here are the links to the removal tools:

http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus.html
http://www.misec.net/trojanhunter/

I also need to point out that this: c:\127021.exe has just appeared in the log. It also has to do do with the the trojan, some kind of porn dialer. I believe it will go along with the trojan. As soon as you finish the above instructions, post a new log with any feedback you think I should have.

Here is some Google info about these issues if you wish to see it:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navc…&q;=127021%2Eexe
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navc…n&q;=prvdi%2Eexe

Good luck
Thanks…pskelley

Hi never11, Welcome back. If at all possible I would appreciate you following the instructions and posting back as quickly as possible, I realize we has a server change and we were down for a day or so but we need to stay after this issue. Thanks much.
I am going clean out some of the Downloaded Program Files (016) you are running. You will be prompted to download them again if they are valid when you visit the site AFTER you are cleaned up. Before you post a new log, there is a new version of HJT V1.99.1. Please update to that version prior to posting a new log. This can be done from within the software like this: "Config"=>"Misc Tools"=>"Check for updates online"

Start by running this free online scan, please report the results of the scan with the next log:
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

Use the instructions for your Operating System to show hidden files:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Use the instructions for your Operating System to enter Safe Mode:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html
Once in Safe Mode…

Open HJT and click on "Open the Misc Tools section" Then under System Tools, click on the "Open process manager" tab. In that list of Running processes, make sure this is not running: D:\WINDOWS\system32\prvdi.exe. IF it is, highlite it and click on Kill Process.
Click on BACK in the lower right corner, then click on SCAN. Put a check in the box in front of these items:

When they are all checked, then click on the "Fix Checked" button.

Then empty the recycle bin and restart the computer to normal mode. Post a new log using V1.99.1, please incude any information I have asked for or you think I should have.
