Hello hootgoot, Welcome to TomCoyote forum and thanks for an easy post. 
The DSO Exploit Notification is a glitch in Spybot. I understand it will be repaired in the next version. Here is some information:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/36.html Keep your Windows Criticals up to date and ignore the DSO items.
