Thanks LineOFire for all of your help. Cajun_gal, your log is clean. I can't see how there can be anything bad left, but let's remember to run cleanmgr like this:
Start, Run type "cleanmgr" without the quotes then ok. Check and remove anything windows locates.
Since we are dealing with trojans, it would be a good idea to purge your System Restore files to make sure nothing in in them that could get back on the computer if you had to use SR. You can do that like this:.
MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SYSTEM RESTORE
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
2. Reboot.
3. Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler that will help you stay clean and safe online:
