I have several that merged on the log forums, how do you delete them, or what should I do if I have a new problem and don't want it combined with the rest, because it looks like people don't respond when things are merged.

You can't delete your posts. We will close any thread where you reply that the problem is fixed. If it is not fixed then you should continue in the original thread and not make extra work for us finding and merging them. It is not the case that people don't respond when topics are merged. They may not respond if they see you have several threads open at once - that is just too confusing.
