update after a bit of research; tried the usual ad aware things but as ive found out this does nothing after a reboot coz nonstopsearch comes back and everytime my computer seems to get slower. i've read of poeple having to start in safe mode to use hijack this to fix problems any help will be appreciated. cheers.
Needed to bump myself to the top of the list as i dont know how much longer this computer will be accessing the internet as it completly died yesterday due to the above infections i think. Basically i have updated and run Ad aware, Spybot 1.3 and CW Shredder. They all pick up various problems and clean them but they come back each time i re-boot. For instance i always get a dial up box on reboot which is obviously trying to connect me to this nonstopsearch thing which i have to reset in internet options evreytime, and now whenever im online i get a dialogue box telling me poeple can see anything i type be it when i do a search on google or log in on this forum so any help in this annoying infection will be much appreciated cheers jack.
i though i'd repost a new log since things have changed and i still need help beating this. Spybot has managed to get rid of the dialer and regain control of my browser of sorts but it does have an error while searching for problems with something called Z Demon???? i have temporarily taken off norton as it was causing some problems. i have also been getting a TON!!!! of trojan files coming from system restore but this has settled down now???? anyway heres the log:

cheers for your help with this one.
Hello JacktheHat and welcome to TomCoyote. Sorry about the delay in replying to you. We are very busy here.

I see that you are running two anti-virus programs on your computer. This is not recommended as they can conflict with each other. Please remove one of them, preferably the newest installed one if both subscriptions are up-to-date.

Reboot the computer into Safe Mode (tap F8 during bootup, use arrow keys to select Safe Mode, then hit 'enter').
Open HijackThis, run a scan, then check the following:

This installs the QuickTime System Tray icon. You can fix this with HJT, but you will also need to set it not to load in QuickTime itself to keep it from resetting itself: (1) Open Quick Time Player (2)Edit > Preferences > Quick Time Preferences (3)uncheck Quick Time System Tray icon on the Browser Plug-in Pane
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime

This is an application scheduler installed with RealOne Player. You can fix this with HJT, but you will also need to set it not to load in RealPlayer itself to keep it from resetting itself: (1) Start RealOne Player (2) Tools -> Preferences (3) Automatic services in the Categories pane (4) Uncheck all options and then OK
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

Resource hog that launches common MS Office components to help speed up the launch of Office programs. Some users claim there's no difference with or without it but it isn't required anyway.
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\OSA.EXE

With all other programs and browsers closed, click fix checked.

Please set your computer to show all files.

* Double-click My Computer.
* Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
* Click the View tab.
* Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
* Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
* Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
* Click Apply, and then click OK.

delete the following folder:

Reboot normally and scan with HijackThis. Post the new log as a reply to this thread.
Heres the new log did all you said but could not find the global dialer in c:programs but i think spybot had got this before also managed to fix that Z demon thing in spybot with a patch from majorgeeks. Also i did not know running 2 virus softwares would cause conflict so i will get rid of Pc cillin since this has now run out and get myself a decent firewall which is what i was using for. anyway heres the log:

HOw does it look and thanks again for your most valuable advice!!!!!!!!!!!
Your new log is clean.:) How is it running?

I recommend that you go to Microsoft Windows and Internet Explorer Updates and update your computer to Service Pack 2 (SP2). This will add better security including a pop-up blocker.

Now that everything is fixed, I suggest that you get these programs:

Spyware Blaster - Blocks bad ActiveX items from installing on your computer.
SpywareGuard - Real-time protection from spyware installation attempts
ie-spyad - Puts over 8,000 bad URLs into your restricted sites for Internet Explorer.
Google Toolbar - Blocks many unwanted pop-ups in Internet Explorer.
Firefox - Safer alternative to the Internet Explorer web browser.

ZoneAlarm - Free firewall program if you currently are not using one.

Update these regularly.

Be sure to keep Windows and your Anti-virus updated.
