yeah there is, i guess i should have included that. My machine is starting to get.. Jittery… thing's arn't quite working right. it ran fine and fast after i did some changes from www.windowsxpatoz.com for performance, then about a week later things started to slow down. even my ping in games jumped up by 100.. i know games arn't the most important thing, but i play counter strike, and my ping normally is 20-50, 50 being a bad day. now it's 130+… and it started being that high when my computer started acting up. I go to open a program, let's say azureus , my bittorrent client, i open the icon. and it opens up the window for it, but the entire window is grey for about 20 seconds, then the application comes into view. or when i click the start button and go to programs it opens up but it's completly grey, then about 10-30 seconds later it shows the icons, then takes about another 10 seconds to open up any subfolders…. yeah i really should have included this… dumb me… finals just got over, and head isn't on straight….
Click here to download mwavscan. Double-click it to run it, select all local drives, scan all files, press 'scan' and when it is completed, anything found will be displayed in the lower pane. Highlight it, CTRL C and paste it in your next reply.

First of all could you click Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and uninstall Shop-at-Home Agent if it's there.

Find and delete:

File C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\ActiveSecurity.ocx
File C:\WINDOWS\system32\sahagent1012.exe

Then with only HJT running, have it fix:

Reboot and you will be good to go. Let me know if it's OK now.
Ok so the slow load times and such have stoped. the internet works fine for browsing. but in games and such. my ping is still 130+ so i don't get to do much anymore. and it's like friggin 12 degreese here and 2 feet of snow so i can't go anywhere so i'm going insane… snow plows haven't even come through in 3 days… but i think i'm going to try to get some support through linksys.. that's the router i have *dodges linksys insults* plus i'm going to do all this over on my parents computer which has been spyware raped… QUESTION: if their computer is raped with spyware and is always on like mine. could it be flooding the router causing my ping to be high? btw, once i get some cash flow i'm diffantly donating, you guys are awesome.
Glad we could help :D It may be a good idea to talk to your ISP to see if they have any idea why your ping has worsened.

To help keep you clean follow the recommendations in Tony's article here:

So how did I get infected in the first place?
