OK this is my first try at this. I read about this site in PC World.

I have run Spybot search and Destory and Ad-Aware. But I still get popups. If I turn the PC off and the next time I turn on my PC they come back. I have read that I need to delete them from my registry. I also read you hav to know what you are doing or it can cause more problems. then I read the artical in PC World that you can walk me thru which ones are bad and should be deleted.

Thank you foe your help,
Dan

Scanning With Ad-Aware SE :

1. Download and Install Ad-Aware SE, keeping the default options. However, some of the settings will need to be changed before your first scan

2.Close ALL windows except Ad-Aware SE

3. Click on the‘world’ icon at the top right of the Ad-Aware SE window and let AdAware SE update the reference list for the adware and malware.

4. Once the update is finished click on the ‘Gear’ icon (second from the left at the top of the window) to access the preferences/settings window
