Hey, just to see if this gets us any where, if you're still available little eagle. All of the symptoms of the CWS.hiddendll where on the HD before I zeroed it out. Problem being is that I could not find the original dll file responsible; I read somewhere that if this dll was deleted before finding the others responsible, it would be extremely difficult to find all the .exe and .dll files infected. The reminants of this are what is on my system. I have infected data cd's made from the previous time that try to use alternate data streams to access or infect folders on my desktop……don't use these, just trying to get the answers and have tried all of this in the past to see. No ADS have been found on my HD as of yet. I also tried this when you were trying to "flush" the culprit out for me. Figured it might progress the aggressor a bit! I found the generic fix, but it still requires the original dll file, that isn't showing up for me. I figure it was a dll file I had uninstalled due to uninstalling programs, which I did lots of trying to solve this problem back when it originally occurred. Remember this "reinfection" was caused by moving saved files from a slave HD (No Longer Hooked Up) to the HD I'm using now with my OS, XP SP2. All I did was transfer that info over. Just thought I'd pass this along to see. If no help, please disregard. Thanks!
AS long as nothing is working here try running: AboutBuster
Please download and unzip http://malwarebytes.biz/AboutBuster.zip
AboutBuster to a folder. Inside the folder is a readme file that has instructions on the use of the program.
AboutBuster MUST be updated before you use it.
Start AboutBuster, click the update button, check for update, drag the box to the side and hit download updates, close the box .
Current reference list # is 15
Actually, I've done that recently little eagle and there is no change on the Hijackthis log (AboutBuster was up-to-date). I decided to try HSRemove for the heck of it and it removed 8 items–don't know what they were. Nothing has changed though. Thanks again!

So how did I get infected in the first place?
