First, I want to thank you people ahead of time. This is a frustating process that you people seem to have been able to resolve and the rest of us are still lost.

Here is my situation.

I keep getting hit with a trojan everytime I log onto my computer. Luckily I have Norton and it gets caught and quarintined. I think there is something running as a service that tries to get this trojan in my computer, even before I open IE 6.0 it tries to download this trojan. I have been looking at your forums and i have the current HiJackthis and this is the log.

Can you help, Please/thanks??

The following have randomly named file names, and as such are normally malware.
UNLESS you know what they are, and they are from a safe source. To do this follow their process tree.
Right click on the file and go to Properties. Then go to the Version tab to see what company name it's from:
If it's from some name you never heard of or if it's blank, please check for removal also. And delete the file.
With the others below.

Reboot and Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
Hey Thanks Little Eagle for your quick response. I was under the impression that a response could take a week or so. Thats why I didn't get back here until tonight.

I did what you suggested and I could not find the C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate directory or the TBPS.exe file. The other two I found and deleted. I also kept one of the DPF that you suggested to delete. It is used for my job connection printing function.

Here is the new Hijackthis log. Computer seems to be running fine and I haven't been hit with that trojan after your suggestions were implemented. I havne't had a chance to see if all my programs work but the main ones are functioning fine.

Thanks again.

Download Killbox.zip

Extract it from the zip file then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the 'Paste Full Path of File to Delete' box, copy and paste this entry:

C:\WINDOWS\Lbczxs.exe

Don't click any of the buttons though, instead please click on the Action menu and choose "Delete on Reboot". In the window that opens up, click on the File menu and choose "Add File". The file should show up in the window. Then repeat the process, this time adding:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\tsa\tsm.exe

If that's successful you should have the two files listed. Then repeat so that these files appear in the list as well:

C:\Program Files\Toolbar\TBPS.exe

When they are all there (and double check!), in the same window choose the Action menu and select "Process and Reboot". You'll be prompted to reboot, do so.

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!
Run Hijack This!
Click "Scan".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [towfezv] C:\WINDOWS\Lbczxs.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TBPS] C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar\TBPS.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Tsa] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\tsa\tsm.exe

Reboot in "safe" mode.

Delete all files andfolders listed:
C:\WINDOWS\Lbczxs.exe
C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\tsa

Reboot in normal mode and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
