I have just used StartupCPL, Spybot S&D, Hijack This & Ad-Aware; to clean a really badly infected machine belonging to a friend of mine.

I couldn't have done it without these programs.

I have already hit the "Tip Jar" button on StartupCPL and left Mike Lin a donation.

My reading of Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D are that they do not want donations. Is this correct?

For Hijack This, will a donation using the http://tomcoyote.org/donate.php link at the top of this page go towards Hijack This?

Lavasoft (Ad-Aware) don't take donations, they are a commercial company and they make money from selling their products.

Spybot is made by one guy, he does welcome donations: http://safer-network...nate/index.html
