I would like to suggest that new posts be acknowlwdged, even if the immediate problem/log cannot be addressed immediately.
Those of us that are highjacked are already a bit frustrated. After logs are posted and there has not been any response, that frustration increases.

We try to get to every log but all the helpers here do it on thier own time and as you can see there are a lot of people that need help.
The reason we do not post to a thread is for 2 mains reasons.
1) Once a helper has posted to a thread they own it and no others will look at it unless assistance is required.
2) Depending on the type of spyware not all helpers are trained to take care of them and therefore they do not post.
I would suggest that if your post has not been responded too in a day or 2 that you respond to your own thread with "BUMP" as the text. Thsi is allowed and will keep your near the front of the section.
