I am purposefully posting outside of the computer cleaning help forum.
Can anyone tell me if things are normal here?  I posted looking for help with my poorly-running computer in the usual place about 5 weeks ago.  Did not get a response in 3 days; reposted as instructed.
Still no reply to tried a message to a member.

Basically I am feeling like a character in the Twilight Zone wherein I am the only person on the asteroid.

Are things working right?  Is everyone on vacation?  Are the "docs" backed way up?

Anyone have an answer to Dr Fermi''s Great Inquiry?

Thanks

denno

I think this site is pretty much dead man. Sad to say. This was a full thriving community at one point where I used to get all my computer-related problems solved easily by so many experienced experts in the field. I have noticed a specific dramatic decline in activity after 2019 which is prior to COVID so maybe the inflation period had something to do with it which may be attributed to loss of jobs or funds by the site admin to keep things running smoothly and a change in overall direction, who knows but that’s my presumptions anyways. Forums by themselves are more in a declining state over the last 6-7 years it seems. Everything seems to be replaced by social media platforms like reddit and unfortunately, it’s kind of like a "free for all", over there, not my ideal experience for providing professional level of engagement with its users.

I will say bleeping computer seems to be operational and running and still getting activity. I am getting help with currently trouble shooting my pc problems over there so you may consider jumping over there to see what is up.
