It looks as though Facebook is facing further problems with members private messages being liable to posting online:

jesse eisenberg won't help you fix your computer
he did it to make everything public and take over software
now we can see every file you had on your computer publicly
otl is fake it deletes everything on your computer and saves a log file
adwcleaner is fake undetectable virus and is unable to remove registry entries
it won't fix your computer but it steal all your information make your computer crash just so it would be public

As far as I know, Jesse Eisenberg is an actor.  I don't know that he knows anything about fixing computers.

What is your point?

I am not aware that he is trying to take over computers and or software.  Where is your proof?  How does Jesse make information on your computer public?

OTL is an outdated tool that is used to remove malware.  If you know what you are doing... you could probably come up with a script that would delete most of the files on your computer... but not all as there are many that are protected by the OTL program.  It does save a log file.  That's a good thing.  Why do you think it is fake?  I would call a program "fake" if it doesn't do anything or does something different that it is supposed to.  OTL does nothing automatically.  It will only try to do what you ask it to do.  How is that fake?

adwcleaner is certainly detectable.  It does nothing to hide itself.  Again with the fake.  What have you seen with adwcleaner that makes you think it exhibits characteristics of a virus?  What makes it fake?  What good would a fake, undetectable virus do?  That sound to me that it would be a virus (obviously), that is undetectable (by your definition) but does absolutely nothing (so it is fake).  I may be old and dense... but that sounds totally worthless to me.  I just don't get it.  I can assure you that adwcleaner can remove registry entries... if you know what you are doing.  The fact is that it produces a log by reading the registry.  It has no capabilities to "steal" information.  Again, what would be the point of a program that caused your system to crash and then "stole" your information.  If the system is crashed... it can't send the information to anyone.  What a totally wasted effort that would be.

I think that you should do a little more research before spouting "facts".  I suspect that you only watch CNN and are confused between "fake" and fact.

If you have computer related questions... ask away.  We have a lot of people here that may be able to further your education.

Some months later and trust on the site has not been redeemed. Been interesting reading about GDPR on https://www.netlawma...-privacy-policy and recent news about Facebook's attempts on blocking cases for violations based on the GDPR. Not very optimistic about it but wondering how things turn out eventually.

Yes, they certainly decided to take over of our privacy for good. I already hide my IP every time I connect to the Internet, now thinking of dropping Facebook.
