RealTek or PC

Hello 

We are not able to hear music, Videos on this computer. We can hear the "ding" of Windows.

Not Internet played music or videos. 

checked the volume control on desktop-Yes

checked t he volume control online source-Yes

checked if a CD/DVD will play-No

checked other browsers-Internet Explorer and Mozilla 

Please advise, thank you.

What version of Windows?

We have Windows Vista Home Premium. No one can recall it ever working. :/ 

I have to admit, I never used Vista. I went from XP to Windows 7. Do you have Windows Media Player installed?

We have Windows Media Center. I'm not seeing WMP I'll look into this further, when i have more time probably tomorrow.
