Hi all, I upgraded to Windows 10 free version and it worked fine for a few weeks. About a week ago the freezing started, It boots fine then approximately 3 minutes later (mostly) or longer it freezes. I have to make several attempts to hard boot before the freezing stops. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've read that this may be a power option issues, I tried the suggestions but the results are the same. I also stop a majority of my programs from starting on boot, no change. Thanks much for the support

Did you make any changes around the time this started? Add or remove hardware or software, connect a different device?
What happens if you boot to Safe Mode with Networking?
Didn't make any changes Rich. Haven't tried safe mode. Thanks
Odd enough I tried to boot in safe mode but cant find a option for it. F8 kept pressing on boot nothing happens, just boots as normal. Tried F12 and the only options I have is as follows:
HDD: DD- Samsung HD10355
CD/DVD
USB Generic ms/ms pro
USB Generic sd/mmc
USB Generic compact
Pre boot sys assessment
Boot utility partition
system set menu
Not sure how to do it at this point?

Thanks, I'll try it and report back
It's been two days since my last post and I haven't had a freeze up. Totally baffled at this point but when it occurs again I will try safe mode and report back. Thanks much for the help!
BTW I have not made any changes..
Hey Eric, I've also had similar issues but all were very random that went away from a few reboots. I think it has to do with the amount of updates going through but I am not sure.
Hey Tabeer, Since my last post I have not experienced the freezing. I have to agree at this point that it is related to updates but honestly I'm not sure.
