My 15 year old Broksonic TV is dying, so I am needing to buy a replacement. Want an LCD TV about the same size (20"), with good picture clarity and sound quality. Must have composite (RCA) or component connectors to fit my DVD recorder, and VCR. Looking to buy from Amazon, TigerDirect, etc. Recommendations?

Hi skygee, I see that you have received no replies to your question yet, so I'll make an attempt to help.
However I think I'm many thousands of miles away from you in a different country and Continent!) so may not be able to recommend items from your locality...
When it comes to connectors then take a look here:

There' s lots of good info there.
Have you though of your local supermarket or TV/Electrical store....?
they usually have an assistant there who may be able to recommend something.

Sorry, thought this forum was USA based (so did Google when I did the seach box!). Anyway, I looked throught the TVs at Walmart, and found noe that had composite (RCA) connectors on back. Waste of time. Other than going to Bestbuy, Target, Kmart, etc., and repeating this, I was thinking to just buy online from Amazon or wherever, but online shops don't advertise whether their TVs have the right connectors or not, but of course they trumpet having the HDMI junk! Anyway, thanks for thying.

Yep you are right...and so is Google!
It is a USA based site but folks from all over the world post in if they can offer any suggestions, I just happen to be on a different Continent, but as you had received no replies I thought I would try to help.
i still think it would be best to ask the vendors about the connectivity... they should know the full specs of the stuff they are selling. otherwise your local dealer may be able to assist.
Sorry not to be of any real help on this one
