About a week ago I was watching TV, and out of the corner of my eye I see chrome open on its own. I did a search on the problem and it was said that it could be spyware or an extension called SavvyConnect . I checked my extensions and I did not see Savvy. So I got Malwarebytes and did a scan. There was no issues detected. A week went by without Chrome opening up on its own. But when I woke up this morning Chrome was up, and I know it was not open when I went to bed.
It always opens to the Chrome home page. The one with the search bar and frequently visited sites below it. The same site as if I opened chrome on my own.
Another odd thing is…
You know how when Chrome is open, and you pull up a different program or page on top of the Chrome page, the very top part of Chrome will go gray. As to tell you that you have clicked off of chrome. Well that grayed top bar happens every 5-10 minutes for no reason. I will open chrome, and nothing else, and the top bar goes gray for about a sec at random times. And when I am typing, if the top bar goes gray, it will stall the typing until the bar is not gray.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read. Any help would be appreciated.

You logs do not appear to show much of anything. Let's start with a few questions:
Does this only happen with the Chrome browser?
Have you added any new Chrome extensions recently?
Have you tried uninstalling, and reinstalling Chrome?
I re installed chrome and everything looks good. The funny thing was that chrome only opened on its own 3 times in 2 months. The thing that was more frequent was when the chrome top bar would gray out as if another program or page was opened.
